ThriveCart comes with 2 versions: Standard and Pro. The standard version costs $495, and the Pro version is an update of the stardard that you need to top up another $195. Personally I will suggest you might as well get the PRO version (the total cost will be $690).

ThriveCart Pro Features

1. Powerful Affiliate Center

ThriveCart offers an extremely powerful affiliate system that allows you to easily set up and power affiliate programs for your products and services.

With just a few clicks you can enable commissions for products, get a registration URL, and have affiliates sign up and start promoting your products.

Note that: ThriveCart’s affiliate system is available for vendors selling products through their ThriveCart checkouts. In order for affiliate and commission tracking to work, you cannot use a 3rd-party to sell your product.

2. Subscription Saver Functionality (Dunning)

ThriveCart’s built-in dunning functionality allows you to set account global automated reminders to your customers ahead of time before their payments are due to be processed, or if their payments are overdue, all without the need of expensive 3rd-party services. You can access the setup from Settings > Manage dunning area.

ThriveCart’s built-in functionality allows you to set multiple reminders (up to 3) in the following ways for upcoming payment and overdue payment:

  • 1 Reminder; 1 day before/after a payment is due.
  • 2 Reminders; 2 days before/after a payment is due & 1 day.
  • 3 Reminders; 3 days before/after a payment is due, 2 days, and then 1 day.
  • None (disabled)

You can also set the reminders for "Card Expiring soon" and "Card has expired" emails at the following interval:

  • 1 Reminder; 3 days before/after expiration.
  • 2 Reminders; 14/3 days before/after expiration.
  • 3 Reminders; 30/14/3 days before/after expiration.
  • None (disabled)

If you don’t want to use ThriveCart’s including notifications, you can set up notifications using your product’s individual behaviour rules. This allows you to set different notifications for different products!

3. Automatic Sales Tax Calculation

ThriveCart lets you easily collect sales tax from your customers when applicable. Enabling this for your product(s) takes just a couple of clicks and unlike other platforms, at no additional cost to you.

Sales tax is applied and added to the price you’ve set in your product settings. This is then applied and broken down on your checkout pages and receipts when applicable.

4. Intelligent Business Projections

ThriveCart's business insights and projections dashboard comes with a specialised prediction engine. You will be able to see the intelligent predictions of future revenue and different metrics. This system intelligently learns more about your business as more data is collected and updates automatically as time goes by.

5. JV Contract And Revenue Sharing

JV Contracts and revenue sharing is a whole independent method of splitting sales revenue with 1 or more people, separate from affiliate commissions.

If you have a JV Contract with a partner and affiliates promoting your product, then your affiliates will earn their commission from the sale amount first, then you and your partner will share the remaining revenue based on the percentages outlined in the contract.

Not all partnerships are between two people. There may be times where you collaborate on a project with multiple partners, or you may have multiple products in your funnel supplied by different partners and they only earn revenue from their associated upsells.

ThriveCart lets you create multiple contracts on the same product, so you can easily create a contract for Partner A and a contract for Partner B, all on the same product.

6. Multi-User and Client Usage Rights

With ThriveCart Pro, you are allow to use your account and offer a managed service for up to 5 clients.

Note that this is not a reseller license but an option for you to offer a managed service powering your client’s carts and funnels.

Included:

  • The authority to sell your clients products through your account and manage their funnels.
  • The ability to create client logins with various levels of permissions and access.
  • The ability to set different business information included in the receipt of each product.
  • Allows you to connect their payment processors, membership platforms, and autoresponders*.
  • Tax reports for individual users.

Client use does not include:

  • The authority to resell access. You may charge your clients a fee for your service and time, but it’s not a reseller account.
  • Multiple subdomains. As standard for a hosted SaaS platform, you’re allocated one subdomain per license.
  • Multiple custom domains.
  • The ability for clients to create or duplicate products. As a service you provide your clients, you will be setting their carts and funnels up.
  • Access to the affiliate centre. Whilst you can enable affiliates on their products and this can be autonomous (automatic approval and automatic payouts) any manual tasks will be required as part of your service to your client, should you wish to provide it.

In some cases and depending on the nature of your relationship with your client or their specific needs, they may prefer their own ThriveCart license and account (which you manage for them).

Each client can be setup to have the following permission:

  • Manage coupons
  • Manage affiliates
  • Access to customer information and sales statistics.
  • Perform refund

You can setup the client such that he can only have access to certain products.

7. Custom Domain Name

ThriveCart supports the use of CNAME on your account. This allows you to replace your domain with a subdomain and domain that you own.

For example, your Thrivecart account and subdomain are myaccount.thrivecart.com.

Your checkout URLs typically look like: https://myaccount.thrivecart.com/my-product/

Using a custom domain you can change this to something like: https://cart.mysite.com/my-product/

You can easily setup a custom domain from your Thrivecart account within your dashboard by heading to
Settings > Account-wide settings > CNAME area.

Thrivecart Pricing

To summarise, the below is the pricing for all Thrivecart options:

  • Thrivecart Standard: $495
  • Thrivecart Pro: $690
  • Upgrade to Learn Plus: $195

So, if you choose to buy the PRO version and upgrade to Learn Plus, the toal cost will be $690 + $195 =$885

Remember that, the price you paid is a one time cost. For simulation purpose, assume you are using another similar solution and is paying $30 monthly. The break even will be 885/30=29.5. Which is about 2.5 years. After that, you can use the software for free.
